Gourmet Breakfast at the Beckmann Inn

We serve a two course gourmet breakfast with a breakfast dessert. We want your breakfast to be as special as you are! For instance, we might serve you stuffed cinnamon French toast, with an apricot glaze and Canadian bacon as your entree and followed by our breakfast dessert served in a crystal sherbet filled with strawberries and kiwi, accompanied with chocolate streusel coffee cake. Our guests tell us our breakfast will take them to Margaritas and nachos on the Riverwalk in the afternoon and then, on to an evening dinner!

Example Recipe

Butterscotch Carmel
Coffee Cake

Ingredients:

pkg.
   frozen dinner rolls (about 24)
1/2
cup
   sugar
1 1/2
tsp.
   cinnamon
1
cup
   chopped pecans
1/2
cup
   brown sugar, packed
1
pkg.
   (4oz) butterscotch pudding (not instant)
1
stick
   butter

 

Steps:
  • Spray a bundt pan or angel food cake pan with non-stick spray
  • Place ingredients in the order given
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  • Cover with foil after baking 15 minutes
  • Cool
  • Serves 12
